These motors are used in an all-electric, engine independent power steering system developed by Delphi Automotive Systems (a US company.)Minebea received final approval from Delphi for its high-precision machining technology and high performance for design and development.
Minebea's Thai and Singapore plant employs the Company's vertically integrated manufacturing system, from the production of components (such as ball bearings) to final assembly, and has been supplying all these motors for Delphi since April,1999.
