| Besides spindle motors with conventional ball bearings or RO bearings, spindle motors using fluid dynamic bearings are produced with new technologies, thereby resulting in a production system designed to exceed exacting HDD spindle motor applications.The fluid dynamic bearing, with special oil between the specially designed grooved bearing section (Grooved Sleeve) and the rotation axis (shaft), supports the axis using the oil pressure generated during rotation. Without the direct contact of the axis and the bearing section, this bearing excels in rotation performance, improved quietness and impact resistance. |
